Goldie, I got you beat...

Just found out last night that I'll be going to Numinous Knot practice for the first time in 2 years. Apparently the reunion show is going to be on for this year, though we seem to be spacing them out according to some weird Fibonacci sequence or something. And since the Bitter End isn't having live music anymore, looks like we'll have to find somewhere else to play. I'll work on it. Any of you sprightly doom-metal kids want to share a bill with an ancient pseudo-noir soundtrack jazz-rock band? Evil Doer, I'm looking right at you...

And as a strange post-scriptum, I wanted to throw this out there. NK once played an open-air gig at the Alderbrook Resort, in the middle of a magical forest, with paddleboats on a pond and water fountains that ran with lemonade. Has anyone else been there, or was that just a rock n' roll dream?

I can ask the guys... I don't have much pull considering I only go to practice a few times a year :-)

How about Satyricon?

I hear the bathrooms are nicer than back in the day. I hope the mics aren't as shocky.

The Tonic is rock friendly for sure. I love seeing shows there.

I forgot about the Tonic! We actually played there once when Numinous was still an active band. I'm pretty sure the Crack City Rockers were the openers. Which tells you how long ago that was.
