Siren Nation celebrates Women, Art, and Community. What do you do?

Hey What's up?

I'll tell you what's up. We have a another music festival this weekend. They call it the Siren Nation festival. Actually it is a Festival the "Celebrates" women, art and community which includes the following categories: music, art and film In fact, there is a kick off show for it tonight.

The kick off event is at Backspace. There is an art reception at 6 PM. Fleshtone will perform at 9 PM and DJ Anjai will spin records after that. This is a FREE and ALL AGES event.

The actual music part of the festival is happening at the Wonder Ballroom on Friday and Saturday. The cool thing is that the majority of these ladies are from right here in Portland. You can get wrist bands that will get you into all events (check the website for details of these other events) for $25 (with an additional $2 service charge) or $15 per night.

Here is the schedule according to their site. Both shows are ALL AGES!
