Meet the Baters! (Incubator Recap)

January 28th, 2008 was another beautiful, wonderful night of magical sounds (thanks to Ryan the sounds guy aka Synchronicity Frequency). Tonight was all music.

Here are the people I met for the first time tonight:

Myrrh Larsen graced us with his final performance of Tori Amos' "Pretty Good Year"!

More later! -- Ste. Goldie

P.S. I talked to Rudements' George Johnson at length about things he would rather not be associated with in public! But I want to tell you about this show next Thrusday (which will be First Thursday) at Rotture...

So last night was the first time I have set foot in The Someday Lounge much less play and I have to say after being here for about six months and playing around town at most of the open mic's/stages the sound is the best I have heard in Portland. The Hostess Gabriele and sound guy Ryan where both very helpfull and freindly and I really enjoyed playing although with so much space and such great sound I am suprised more people don't come outta the rain for this. Come out People and support a good thing!
Also if anyone was there who listened to my set First of all Thank You! and second I am searching for a few talented musicians to play a slew of original songs and to collaborate with. Namely a bass player and perhaps an organ or some horns. You can check out some material here http://www.myspace.com/lovedollswingers or http://www.myspace.com/usanatron
Have a great day and thanks for reading!

Usanatron -- I agree. Incubator is the best sounding open mic in town! Thank you for sharing your music and your passion! Gabriel is a gift to the community...
