They are actually? Well playing live shows at places like SXSW you don't want to come off as arrogant untalented hacks... You know? They got thrown onto this bill at The Belmont last minute which you would hope meant that it was WORTH IT. I was waiting to watch the other bands play (on ustream) and they lacked any real respect for what was going on. The musicianship was unrecognizable. I asked myself "are they fucking around?" "is this a joke band?"
the way they did act and play I wouldn't give them another thought or go to the trouble to figure out how good they are.
Seriously, when you watch a band play shitty do you feel compelled to make sure they don't suck?
